PRESIDENTS BLOG 15/11/2016

15th November, 2016

The October B2B meeting was hosted by Penrith Farmers & Kidds - Sale Room.  Once again our members enjoyed the evening and learnt lots about what the business does and they also had to chance to put some bids themselves.  For more information visit their website www.pfkauctions.co.uk.  Thank’s Michael, Stephen and their team for being great hosts and making us feel very welcoming.

It’s with a sad heart that we had to say farewell to our Vice President Laura Marshall (Marshall Mason - Kitchen Living) during the summer.  Due to the increased workload in her own business she felt she was unable to give the time needed for the VP position, but the good news is that she is still a member of the Chamber and will be involved.  Taking over from Laura in the interim is Karen Harvey (Acorn Guest House).  I am sure you will see Karen out and about over the next few months with lots of projects taking place.

With only 40 days until Christmas we are heading into the festive period and with lots going on in Penrith it should be a great time.  Keep up to date with what’s taking place by looking at the Penrith Winter Festival Brochure and on the website www.penrithwinterfestival.co.uk

Finally, don't forget if you want to enter the window dressing competition which is being judged on Saturday 26th November you need to email the secretary on secretary@penrithchamberoftrade.co.uk
