Penrith Fashion Week

A number of retailers have approached the Chamber about having a Penrith Fashion Week.  This is not just for the clothes shop there is fashion in EVERY business so we agree that this will be a great way to showcase what our town has to offer.

Penrith Fashion week has been arranged for the week commencing Monday 22nd May and we very much hope that you will all get involved.

It will be a week of offers/promotions with a big fashion show at the North Lakes on the Thursday evening.  This date follows on from dementia week so we will also try to raise some money for Penrith Alzhemers society along the way.

We appreciate this is rather short notice but we hope that you will like the idea, put on some promotions and then perhaps next year we can look to make it bigger and better with activities throughout the town.  If you have any ideas at all please drop me an email as the Chamber would love to hear them.  If you are planning promotions please email the details to our secretary, Patricia Benson, on [email protected] and we will help to promote them via our database and social media.

We have already approached the local TV and radio and are building up momentum to get some good advertising to around this week.

We have successfully applied for funding from the Penrith BID to fund the fashion show and help with the marketing, so a big thank you to them for supporting the town.
