Penrith supporting the World's Original Marmalade Awards

16th March, 2019 - 17th March, 2019

Penrith Chamber of Trade & Commerce will once again be supporting the World’s Original Marmalade Awards at Dalemain on Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th March 2019.

Free Classic Coach Shuttle

Thanks to funding from Eden District Council, we’ll be running free shuttle buses between Dalemain and Penrith to enable visitors at Dalemain to take a trip into town and also to encourage Penrith residents to get down to Dalemain and see what’s happening there.  The bus stop in Penrith will be outside The George Hotel, and the buses will run on a 15 minute loop on Saturday, and every half hour on Sunday.  Our volunteers will be at the Info Point at the Bus Stop to let you know what is going on and point you in the right direction.  They'll be able to let you know which shops are participating with special offers, in the trail, or in the competitions.

Don't forget Penrith Rocks!

Create a marmalade-related painted rock.  If you’re new to Penrith Rocks, the idea is that you or your children paint a rock, then hide it somewhere to be found.  Whoever finds your rock logs it on the Penrith Rocks Facebook page, takes it and hides it somewhere else!  How far can an orange-themed rock get?  Check out these ideas below!
