Penrith Partnership

31st March, 2015 - 13th April, 2015

Please see below the email from Penrith Partnership with details of their next meeting and how you can help.

Most of us who live in Penrith can see things we’d like to improve about the town. Now there’s an opportunity to share your views and make some changes happen.

The Penrith Partnership would like to invite you to our Community Get Together event on Monday 13th April 6:30pm at Penrith Methodist Church Hall. You and your members are invited to attend, and we would appreciate it if you can bring this event to their attention. We're very keen to seek involvement from all local organisations such as sports and social clubs, churches, the arts, and the local business community.

The purpose of the event is to discuss the findings from our recent survey, which has been released over the past few weeks and is also attached here. We’d very much appreciate it if you can complete and return the survey by Friday 10th April, either online or by completing and returning the attached version to any of the 3 collection points in the town centre as listed.

As you can see, we are particularly interested in our town’s environment, leisure, events, economy, and provision for young people. These themes will be discussed at next month’s event, and your ideas will be very welcome.

Out of all this will come the most important result: a Community Plan for projects to achieve the aspirations of local people. The Community Plan will set out what needs doing, how it will be achieved, by whom, the timescale, and how it will be resourced.

We look forward to hearing your views and then seeing you our Community Get Together next month - thank you very much for your participation.

Kind regards,

Peter Ward

(Chair, Penrith Partnership)
