Who will win this year's Christmas Window Competition?

This year Penrith Chamber of Trade and Penrith B.I.D. are teaming up for Christmas. We’re challenging all businesses to take part in our Christmas Window Display competition.
As well as the usual Retail and Non – Retail awards, which are judged by the Chamber, this year we also have a new ‘People’s Choice Award’. Voted for by shoppers and visitors to the town, the lucky winners of this coveted award will win Fish & Chips for up to ten members of their staff. This prize has been generously donated by Angel Lane Chippie, recently voted the North West’s Number 1 Chippy!
This year, with the stakes so high, we’ve left the theme up to you, so go wild and get designing!
Judging for the Retail Award and Non Retail Award will take place on Saturday 1st December, the day the Christmas Lights will also be switched on; and judging for the People’s Choice Award will take place via the Discover Penrith Facebook page.
Wondering why you should both?
On top of the brilliant Fish and Chip Prize for the People’s Choice window, we’ll also be promoting the window displays on Discover Penrith media channels. So, if you fancy some free marketing, then get involved.
How to take part.
To enter your business, please email [email protected]. You will be provided with a poster to display in your window and one for your counter, to encourage shoppers to vote for your window via the Discover Penrith Facebook page.
